Today, I get the keys to my new apartment. Eeeee! I am so happy, there are no words for it!
I get studio space with a window. My current studio is lacking one and with the oil paint fumes, it’s probably not so great for my poor brain cells.
But this new space…oooh, I can feel my soul breathing in it. It’s the house I’ve always dreamed of living in, and I’m counting down the days till I move in with bated breath.
And so a celebration is in order! Consider this sale my version of happy dancing. Except instead of just looking ridiculous, you guys get to benefit.
I’m so happy that my new space is so infused with all things good and wonderful, I’d like to pass some of that on to you. Because happiness is contagious.
Here’s to a year of inspiration, creativity and joy!
Prints on sale!
Normally I have prints for sale on my site. But for some reason that I can no longer remember, I took them off and never got around to putting them back up. (Oops.)
To circumvent this and offer prints to those who can’t afford my originals, I’m offering 2 sizes of prints available:
$70 USD (that includes shipping) for a signed 8×10 print on Hahnemeule William Turner watercolour paper.
$100 USD (includes shipping) for a signed 11×14 print on Hahnemeule William Turner watercolour paper.
(Trust me, they’re gorgeous. It almost looks like a painting. My printer is a genius.)
All you have to do when you pay is tell me what painting you’d like a print of – and it can be any painting in my portfolio, whether it’s for sale or already sold. (The only exception is I don’t make prints of other people’s pets or children. Cus that’s creepy.)
But paintings like the gerbera? Totally available as a print.

They’re all available as prints – even if it says NFS (not for sale). And if you really want a print but can’t decide which one, send me the money and just let me know later. It’s totally not a problem.
Paintings! (Oh yes, some paintings are on sale too.)
When I moved from Niagara to Prince Edward Island, some of the frames on my paintings got damaged. The paintings themselves were fine, but I can’t show them anywhere with damaged frames. And I don’t currently have the budget to re-frame a bunch of paintings.
But what’s my loss is your opportunity.
I have 2 paintings I’m offering on sale, unframed. This is a one time only I’m-so-happy-I’m-dancing-my-socks-off opportunity. If they don’t sell, I’ll eventually get around to re-framing them and I’ll be showing them again for full price in galleries.
By the way, all of these paintings are standard sizes, so buying a frame for them shouldn’t be an issue at all. You could even hang them unframed. It’s the trendy new thing to do these days.
It’s retail price is set at $900, framed. Without a frame, $750. Till next Tuesday? $600 USD+ $50 shipping anywhere in the world. (I’d just like to say that the computer screen does not do this painting justice. The colours are so much richer in person.)
Retail? $325. Unframed? $250. Till next week? $200 USD + $25.00 shipping anywhere in the world. (Again, so much more depth in person. The water is shinier, the clouds are brighter, and it just generally looks like a better painting.)
The sale on these paintings is only on until next Tuesday at midnight EST. The prints are available till next Fridayish, and then they will be available on my site again at some point in the future, although the prices will be higher.
I’m off to plan new paintings for my wonderful new studio space! (Windows! Windows! Hurrah!)
