It’s pretty much the greatest thing ever. Umm, not the painting (I’m not that conceited) but the fact that I finished something? Even a little something? Huge. I am celebrating. Probably with chocolate.
I know I’ve been pretty absent here lately, but I’m going to try and keep you guys posted on my creative progress as I complete these paintings for the gallery.
I’ve also got some ideas brewing for making sure I have a constant supply of affordable art for you guys, so stay tuned. It’s a pretty great idea actually – it’s one of those brilliant win-win situations. I’m pretty stoked but until I have the actual supplies to make it, I’m staying hush hush. So you’ll just have to wait and seeee.
Anyways, here’s the new painting – Sunlit Bay. It’s just a little guy, 8″x10″ oil on canvas. But he’s so dramatic and glorious that I’m pretty in love. And it’s just nice to actually be finished a painting. Finally. Hopefully this’ll free me up to finish other ones. I’m suddenly feeling confident about getting these paintings done. I can totally do it. Raa!
As you can see, I was so excited to share this, I couldn’t even wait till we’d finished our morning coffee.
I may actually still be in my pajamas.
Wanna see new paintings before anybody else? Then why aren’t you on my mailing list? Silly goose. It’s okay. I still love you.
Welcome to one artist's odyssey
On May 21st, I'm going on a quest. A quest for art, for meaning, for beauty, for truth. I'm picking up my life, packing up a suitcase and heading to rural France to live, paint and study art for the next 18 months.
Click here to find out how you can stowaway in my suitcase and join in the adventure!
