Welcome to my art show!

Can I offer you a glass of wine? A macaron? We’ve got them in 5 different flavours! Or maybe a slice of absinthe cake would be more to your taste. Please – take anything you’d like.

I know that this is virtual food, with virtual French café music playing in the background (just pretend) and virtual walls covered in art. But it’s the best I can do long distance.

Before & After

An example of my figure work before studying in France, and my final painting while there.

My studies in France are the whole reason behind this show. 

The primary inspiration was to say thank you to everyone who helped me get there, and especially to Prince Edward Island for being such an especially wonderful place to live before I depart at the end of April.

Another part of the inspiration was to test my skills after 6 months of study and see what kind of work I could produce and what I could keep learning on my own. In that regard, I consider it a complete success. I couldn’t be prouder of the works in this show.

Besides, it’s just fun to throw what amounts to an art party with a French theme. There aren’t many excuses in life to have 100 macarons catered in!

Below you’ll find a mix of mostly new paintings, with some familiar favourites throughout. Some pieces will be available for the first time in years, or ever. I hope you enjoy looking.
