The human figure and the human spirit fascinate me. There is just something so beautiful, vulnerable and fragile about the human race. We try to hide it, to deny it, but it’s our greatest strength, and our footpath to compassion, empathy and kindness – the things that will heal us all.
With paintbrush and pencil, I explore the vulnerability, fragility and beauty that lie within us all. Lately, I’ve been drawn to nudes and the stories that lie beneath our clothes.
