@Carrie – omg, you love the smell of blown out matches too?! I love that smell, and everyone else thinks I’m nuts! It makes me think of birthday cake

@Andrew – Haha! I hope no one Google stalks you either. Creeepyy.

So glad I’m not the only one whose had weird accent changes in their life. Most people look at me like I’ve got 4 heads when I tell them. Or suddenly break into one.

Ok, I posted some at Copylicious already but…

~ I moved from having an Essex accent to a Deep South Texan accent. There is a tape… Back to standard southern English accent.

~ I have a line of moles that goes almost in a straight line from my side all the way up to my neck and one on my face. I thought as a teenager I’d been marked by aliens.

The more I read your blogs, the more I like you!

Let’s see…some quirky stuff without being weird or alarming…

I can bend the 2nd toe on my right foot without bending any other toes…

I also like the way matches smell after you blow them out.

I have one of the largest Boxer puppies on record. He’s ginormous.

Sixteen Candles is my all time favorite movie and I can watch it a million MORE times and not be tired of it.

I had no idea you had direct hillbilly experience!

I think I’m going to start a running list, and do the random facts thing regularly. (I’m possibly a bit too excited about this.)

@Kelly – I am off to read yours right now and I am so excited!

@Crystal – you used to have dragon figurines?! I’m so jealous! I had dinosaurs and the only reason I never made them clothing was because I’m completely useless at sewing.
And the birthmark thing is so cool! But you said it used to look like a diamond – you mean it doesn’t anymore?

Now I feel less interesting, because I can’t think of any weird facts about myself that no one knows. It appears that I’m extremely open and talkative about my weird facts. And most of the “weird” things about me are on purpose … except for things that seem pretty insignificant, like that I have a birthmark that used to look like a diamond, which I thought was nice because it matched my name (Crystal).

How about that I have a collection of dragon figurines and all of them are named, and I used to make them clothing, like some girls make their dolls clothes? There are people out there who know that, but there aren’t very many of them any more.

I love religion. I find it absolutely fascinating how people celebrate, ritulize and worship. But I’m not religious – I like Christmas for the presents, Easter for the chocolate and the Solstices for the weird pagan goings on.

Also when I was about six I had a flock of pet chickens. I really loved those chickens and eventually took one to live with me at school in the Young Farmers’ Club.

I can shoot. I enjoy shooting, as long as it’s at tin cans or clay pigeons and not living things – then I get freaked.

Oh god, I can’t stop! I can think of a gazillion things now – like I had a pea stuck up my nose for about 4 years! The doctor had to get it out and it made him feel really grossed out.

When I was 9 my best friend was a girl named Crystal. We were on the playground and I slipped on the wet metal of the monkey bars and fell, hitting my head on the way down. It knocked me out. When I regained consciousness, Crystal was laying on me, hugging me, crying. When she saw me wake up, she looked at me and said through sobs, “I thought you were dead!!!” It’s one of my favorite memories in my whole life. Crystal’s family moved away after that school year and I never saw her again, and I always wonder how she’s doing.
